Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nurse (RN)
Nurse Connection Staffing provides Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) as well as Registered Nurses (RN) to Doctor offices located across New York State.
When working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in a Doctor office setting, we are prepared with the following working conditions and expectations:
Required:
Valid NYS license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Professional Nurse
Reports to Office Manager, Practice Manager or Clinical Supervisor
Expectations of role:
- To support the Physicians or mid-level providers in the practice with clinical activities and direct patient care. May also assist with appointment scheduling and other related activities for optimal patient service
- Patient-centered care resulting in excellent customer service through the utilization of teamwork, exhibiting professionalism, possessing a strong clinical knowledge base, compassionate, supportive and caring demeanor
Essential Job Functions – Under the Direction of the Physician or Nurse Manager, RN
- Perform clinical duties in accordance with scope of practice
- Carry out all assigned clinical procedures for the comfort and well-being of patients per practice protocol
- Prepare patients’ records for visit
- Take and record patients’ vital signs
- Prepare exam rooms
Essential Skills and Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional service attitude
- Knowledge of practice management system, EMT and scheduling protocols
- Knowledge of diseases and treatment
- Demonstrated clinical competency
